Multi-Node High Availability (MNHA) is increasingly common as an alternative to chassis cluster. One operational question that surfaces quickly in MNHA deployments is Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP). As of Junos 25.4R1, each node runs an independent DHCP process with no lease database synchronization between them. Unlike chassis cluster, DHCP state is not replicated across nodes.
